MIGI is Australia's independent directory of registered migration agents. We make it easy to find, compare, and contact a registered migration agent — wherever you are in Australia.

What We Do

We list every registered migration agent in Australia in a searchable, browsable directory organised by city, visa type, and language. Our goal is to connect people who need immigration assistance with qualified, registered professionals.

Every registered migration agent has a profile on MIGI — free of charge, no sign-up required.

How We Source Our Data

All agent profiles are created from data published on the MARA Register — the official public register maintained by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA), part of the Australian Government.

The data we source includes:

  • Agent name and Migration Agent Registration Number (MARN)
  • Registration status (Registered, Suspended, etc.)
  • Registered business name and address
  • Contact details (phone, email, website)

What we don't get from MARA: visa specialisations, languages spoken, client reviews, and biographies are not available on the public register. These fields are populated when agents claim their profiles or through verified third-party sources.

Data Updates

We refresh our data regularly to reflect changes on the MARA register. Agent profiles display the date their MARA data was last verified (shown as "MARA data as of [date]" on each profile). Despite our efforts, registration status can change at any time — always verify an agent's current status directly on the OMARA Register.

  2. Review profiles — check registration status, location, contact details, and (where available) reviews and specialisations
  3. Verify registration — every profile links directly to the agent's record on the official MARA register
  4. Make contact — reach out to an agent directly via their listed contact details

For migration agents and businesses

  1. Claim your profile — verify your identity via a secure email link
  2. Upgrade to Pro — add a business description, logo, and additional contact details (Pro tier)
  3. Upgrade to Featured — priority placement in search results and city listings (Featured tier)

Claiming a profile is free. Paid tiers (Pro and Featured) are optional and clearly labelled. See our pricing page for details.

What We Don't Do

  • We are not a migration agent. We do not provide immigration advice, migration advice, or legal advice.
  • We do not endorse or recommend agents. A listing — including a Featured listing — does not indicate endorsement, assessment, or recommendation by MIGI.
  • We do not mediate disputes. Any engagement with an agent found through our site is a direct relationship between you and that agent.

Featured Listings

Some agents and businesses display a "Featured" badge and receive priority placement. Featured listings are paid placements. They are always clearly labelled and do not indicate superior quality, endorsement, or recommendation.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

We take reasonable steps to keep listing data accurate and current:

  • Agent profiles are refreshed regularly from the MARA register
  • Each profile displays when its MARA data was last verified
  • Agents whose registration is cancelled, suspended, or expired are flagged or removed from active listings

If you believe any information on this site is incorrect, or if you are an agent who wishes to have your profile removed, contact us at admin@migi.com.au. We process removal requests within 14 business days.
